40,000 years ago somebody drew a bull in a cave and it's still visible today (the image above is a reproduction). We too want to make publications that last.

Do we have a blog?

Yes.

What do we make?

Our primary business is making public domain computable encyclopedias. Our first two are PLDB and CancerDB.

PLDB helps programming language designers build the next great programming language.

CancerDB helps cancer researchers build the next great cure.

These projects are powered by our language called Scroll.

What is our mission?

Every child with their own copy of humanity's best information.

Public Domain Publishing begins selling regional franchises.

Fix the discourse in your local community and accelerate the economy by launching a public domain, print-at-home daily newspaper

January 18, 2023 โ€” Earlier this month Public Domain Publishing launched two new local newspapers: The Long Beach Pub and The Hawai'i Pub. The papers use a breakthrough technology stack unlike any the world has seen before. Even in their early iterations, the response to the papers has been overwhelming. Already people are launching newspapers using the same software across the world.

In an effort to more effectively bring this breakthrough technology and business model to communities around the world, Public Domain Publishing Inc. is launching a new newspaper franchise program. Entrepreneurs interested in starting their own newspaper business can email franchise@publicdomaincompany.com for a price sheet.

December 18, 2022 โ€” A company is just a name, some bank accounts and legal documents, maybe a ticker symbol, and some rows in some databases. None of those things are important to me.

March 6, 2021 โ€” Motivational posters are the key to our success.

If all you have is a hammer, you're already ahead of 1 million years of humanity.
Experience is what you get when everything goes to shit.
If you ain't having fun building it, your users ain't gonna have fun using it.
We're not paying you the lowest wage possible to work your life away.
Nature loves to distribute things equally. Just compare the volume of the sun to Pluto.
If you've practiced something for 10,000 hours, you still gotta watch out for the freak who is at 100,000 hours.
Don't wait for our imminent bankruptcy to get paid.
There is nothing more unimportant to us than our investors.
Plan like you might live forever. Pivot like someone might shoot you tomorrow
If you aren't the freak in the world most interested in this topic, then what are you doing here?
Licenses are for losers.
Checklists are a great way for getting a lot of unimportant things done.
"Creators" are responsible for creating great content like I'm responsible for building Mauna Kea for breathing on it.
